Greta Thonberg, the Swedish girlfriend, arrived in Greece to a crowd of supporters supporting the Palestinians on Monday after she and hundreds of other activists who were seized by Israel on the high seas were deported after an attempt to provide assistance to Gaza.
Israel said it had expelled 171 activists on Monday, including Thonberg, and thus has so far been deported until 341, out of 479 people who detained them when it seized the fleet in an attempt to break the maritime blockade in Gaza.
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 161 activists arrived on a trip to Athens on Monday. Among them Thunberg, 22, 27 Greek citizens, as well as citizens of about 20 other countries.
“Let me be very clear,” Thonberg told the crowd at Athens Airport, referring to the Israeli military action in Gaza.
“Our international systems are betraying the Palestinians. They are not able to prevent the worst war crimes. What we were aiming to do with the global Somoud fleet is to ascend when our governments failed to carry out their legal commitment.”
The Canadians are detained
Israel, which rejects the accusations that implement the genocide in Gaza and says that reports on hunger there are exaggerated, and the fleet has rejected as a propaganda trick that Hamas benefits from. Thonberg has already been held at sea in an attempt to violate the siege in June.
Ottawa says Israel will release three Canadians who were also detained on a fleet container.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Anand on the platform X wrote today that “Canada is familiar with three Canadians who were detained off the coast of Israel.”
She says Global Affairs Canada provided consular assistance and “the three is about to release him.”
The Foreign Ministry said that the other two departments are the citizens of Greece, Italy, France, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Switzerland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Serbia and the United States.
The fleet organizers said on Thursday that the Israeli forces intercepted dozens of ships belonging to Somoud Somoud Boutela (GSF), which carry foreign activists and humanitarian aid heading to Gaza. This is the latest attempt to break the Israeli siege and provide supplies to the war -torn Palestinian territories.
The fun activists claim ill -treatment
Among nine members of the fleet who arrived at home in Switzerland, some alleged sleep deprivation, water and food shortage, as well as some of them are beaten and kick and closed in a cage, as represented by the group represented in a statement.

Spanish activists also claimed abuse when they arrived in Spain late on Sunday after being deported.

Israel says allegations lie
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs described widespread reports of detainees who were subjected to ill -treatment after the fleet objected to as “complete lies.”
A Reuters spokesman said during the weekend that all detainees were granted access to water, food and toilets, adding: “The legal advisor has not been rejected and that all their legal rights have been fully supported.”
On Sunday, the Swiss embassy in Tel Aviv visited 10 Swiss citizens and said, all of them “in a relatively good health, given the circumstances.”
The former Barcelona mayor, Ada Colo, who was also on the fleet, said that there was “mistreatment, but this was nothing compared to what the Palestinian people suffer every day.”
Spanish journalists Carlos de Baron and Nestor Brito said that the Israeli authorities had signed a statement on behalf of the activists who were deported on the pretext that they had entered Israel illegally.
“They put documents in the Hebrew language in front of us, and they were deprived of the right to the translator, and we did not receive consular assistance because they did not allow the (Spanish) consul to enter the port of Ashdoud.”
Consular employees visited the activists in the prison, according to data from many countries whose citizens were arrested.
