The famous chef Gordon Ramsay brought his brand to India. Street Burger was inaugurated this week at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi 1 – on the occasion of the first Ramezi restaurant in the country and the beginning of a wider expansion in Indian travel centers.

The launch is presented, in partnership with Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), RAMSAI concession to one of the most crowded airports in the world. Delhi Airport dealt with approximately 78 million passengers in 2024 and recently expanded T1 to accommodate 40 million local publications annually – making it a major place for the first time in India in India.

Burger Street, born in London, has installed “honest burger with flavor bags.” The settlement focus in Delhi, which is considered a mixture of global and local inspiration: Burger Gordon’s fried Burger alongside Burger Tindari Benir and Bouji Burger.

The sides include “more hotter than hell potatoes” engraved in molten cheese, plant sting, salads, sticky sweets, desserts, millions of chic, and cocktails.

“India’s passion for its rich heritage in cooking makes it a natural home in the streets,” said Andy Winlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global. He pointed out that international airports are essential to the brand growth strategy, with the outlets in London, Doha and Hong Kong. “Expansion to Delhi – and soon Mumbai – is the next exciting step.”

For TFS, which runs eating at 18 Indian airports, cooperation is a milestone. “Indian travelers today expect to eat globally, relevant and high,” said Varun Kapoor, MD and CEO of TFS. “Bring Gordon Ramsay to India reflects the shift in airport experiences that can be and should be.”

Ramsay appears for the first time to a growing wave of international restaurant brands that enter India, including Wagamama, which was launched last month by K Hospitality and PF Chang, which opened last year. Those familiar with the industry suggest that Ramzi Street Pizza may follow it next Mumbai.
