Google’s Nano Banana adds more visual flair to NotebookLM’s video overview

If you only need the important parts of your content sources, you can choose the new summary video format that gives you a glimpse of the key ideas without diving into too many details. You can further customize the focus points in your video by adding instructions in the Customize field.

Nano Banana introduces new visual styles

Google is harnessing Nano Banana to offer new ways to change the look of your video overviews. You will now have the following options to choose from when customizing your video:

• Blackboard
• Watercolours
• Retro print
• legacy
• Paper craft
• Anime

The Automatic selection option is selected by default and will present your overview in one of the styles randomly if you do not choose a specific style.

New styles and formatting options in Video Overviews will begin rolling out in all supported languages Google AI Pro users This week, which starts at $20 per month. A wider release for free users will be released in the coming weeks.
