The technology giant in the United States says that the jury’s decision offends its products and will resume.

Google was informed by an American jury to pay $ 425 million to violate the privacy of tens of millions of users who chose to use the feature tracking application.

The San Francisco jury issued the ruling on Wednesday after a group of Google users accused the technology giant of continuing to collect data from third -party applications even when they changed their account settings to prevent this practice.

Google said that the decision misunderstood how its products made and that it had planned to appeal.

“Our privacy tools give people to control their data, and when they stop the allocation, we honor this choice,” Google spokesman Jose Castaneda said in a statement.

In a lawsuit, prosecutors claimed that Google collected and sells mobile phone applications data for users in a breach of privacy assurances contained in web and application activity settings.

The lawsuit, which was submitted in July 2020, covered about 98 million Google users.

During the experiment, Google argued that the data collected was “non -personal” and “pseudonym” and storing them in “separate, timing and encryption sites”.

Google has faced a number of other privacy cases.

In May, the technology giant agreed to pay 1.375 billion dollars to Texas due to the claims that were collected by the engineering of the population confrontation and sound printing without appropriate approval, and follow the sites of users even when they chose the feature.
