Google announced on Thursday that it is offering new defenses on behalf of artificial intelligence to help combat Chrome fraud. The technology giant will start using Gemini NanoLLM, on the desktop to protect users from online fraud. It also launches new warnings of Chrome Amnesty International on Android to help users realize unwanted notifications.

Google indicates that the Chrome improved protection mode for Chrome provides the highest level of protection, providing users with poor protection against hunting and other online threats compared to the standard protection mode. Now you will use Google Gemini Nano to provide improved protection users with an additional layer of defense against online fraud.

Google says this approach to the device will provide an immediate look on risky web sites to protect users from fraud, including those that have not been seen before.

“Gemini Nano’s LLM is ideal for this use because of its ability to distort the diverse and complex nature of websites, which helps us to adapt to new fraud tactics more quickly,” Google said in a blog post.

The company already uses this defense, which operates in Amnesty International to protect users from distance technical support claims. Google plans to expand this defense to Android devices and even types of tricks in the future.

As for the new Acting warnings, Google notes that the risks from Scammy sites can extend beyond the site itself through the notifications if you enable them. Harmful web sites can use notifications to try to defraud you, and for this reason Chrome will now help you realize harmful, random or misleading notifications on Android.

Now when the machine learning model on the Chrome device announces a notice as a fraud process, it will receive a warning. You can choose to either cancel the subscription or display the content that has been banned. If you think the warning is incorrectly displayed, you can allow all future notifications from this site.

As part of today’s announcement, Google has shared that she uses artificial intelligence to stop fraud by discovering and banning hundreds of millions of results of deception every day. Google says that the fraud detection systems of Amnesty International helped get 20 times the number of pages of deception.

For example, Google has seen an increase in bad actors in impersonating the airline customer service agents and rid people looking for help. The company says it has reduced these fraud by more than 80 %, which reduces the risk of accessing anger phone number when searching.
