Google messages can now blur nude photos on Android

A warning will appear when you go to send a nude image or redirect it as well. Your device will remind you of the risk of doing this and you will definitely admit before sending the image.

Sensitive content warnings are enabled by virtual users subject to supervision, parents and guardians who can manage it through the Link Family application. Adolescents who are not subject to supervision between the ages of 13 and 17 can stop the feature of their Google account settings. Adults will have to choose if they want to use the feature. They can do this by moving to Google Messages settings> Protection and Safety> Sensitive content warnings> Google’s warnings.

Google designed this feature with a privacy mode in mind. Your device will process and classify images locally with the help of Android safety tools. No specific data, classified content or results related to this safety feature (including any bare discovered images) are not sent to Google servers, The company says. Google also notes that the feature is not perfect – it may sometimes be determined incorrectly that the image contains nudity when you do not, or allow those that are characterized by nudity traffic.
