Lukasz Fabianski joined West Ham just three months after leaving the club.

The 40 -year -old, who left the hammers in June after the end of his contract after more than 200 games over seven years, signed a deal until the end of the season.

The former international in Poland returns to the club the next day to sign the third option, Wes Vodoringham, signed on Cypriot Club Aris Limassol.

Fabianski is likely to provide a cover for the Mads Hermansen, which was signed by West Ham from Leicester in August, and Alvons Ariola, and the experience of the veteran goalkeeper may be a worker in the decision to return him.

“I am really happy to return because this club clearly means a lot to me,” said Fabensky.

“I will definitely be a player always puts the team above my personal goals. I think people may see me as a good person to be present, and a good person in the team regarding what I brought, so it is not only related to me, it is about the team.

“I’m here to support, to keep the standards high. I also have great experience, so I think it can be useful.”

He added: “I will continue to work the way I have always been doing, which we always hope for a good level, but at the same time I understand that my role is completely different.”

Graham Potter, President of Hummers Fabianski, praised as a “respectable and popular” player in the club and insisted that he be an appropriate model for the younger members in the team.

“We are really happy to return Lukasz with the group,” Potter said.

“Regardless of being here previously, the main factor is that he is still a better goalkeeper and the highest professional, and the best option for the role we need to fill.

“It is a signature that makes sense for everyone. Lucas knows that the club is very good, it is great and popular with everyone here.

“His personality and personality will be a great example, especially for younger players, and he is a person who really cares for West Ham United and wants to help us in any possible way. We are very happy to return him with us.”
