Gigi Hadid recalls her first experience with Victoria’s Secret

The 30-year-old spoke about the pros and cons of being a model, including a time when she faced the pain of feeling self-conscious because of her body type, and also hinted at the joy of motherhood.

Gigi cried for a moment when she spoke about her journey with Victoria’s Secret in front of the cameras. She recalled how she tried out about three times before she was selected to participate in the show for the first time in 2015.

She also added that people with other body types, such as plus-size models, are not going anywhere and should be accepted. Her message stated that every person is unique and that, in the public eye, she acknowledges her differences and is confident in herself.

One would think that with this title, people would stop the trolls. In the recently uploaded clip, Gigi is still receiving some unfriendly comments. “Get over it, you’re not out there fighting a war… you’re designing underwear,” one user wrote.

Another fan simply wrote: “She looks bad.” Others sent vomit emojis, writing that it was boring and unnecessary. Despite this, many fans expressed their excitement at seeing her on the runway again, and others showed their love with multiple heart emojis.

In 2023, Gigi spoke about her career in an interview and revealed that she admits that while she has worked hard to achieve the success she has in her career, little privilege has accompanied that hard work.
