George Town, the liberated academy from the detention of immigration

Baddar Khan Suri was released at Georgetown University from a detention center in Texas after he was arrested as part of the Trump administration campaign against activists across universities.

The US Civil Liberties Union said: The Trump administration is still seeking to deport Mr. Syria in separate procedures.

Many students and academics have been investigated by American immigration officials in recent weeks, accusing them of defending “violence and terrorism”.
