An impressive image of the nine -year -old amputation from Gaza is the international journalistic photo of 2025 for this year. Mahmoud Ajjour lost their arms in an Israeli air strike. His photo was taken by Palestinian photographer Samar Abu Elf for the New York Times. Ajjour talked with Al -Jazeera about rebuilding his life and his dream of returning home.
