“Gachiakuta” stars say that the anime is more than just its battles

Gachiakuta It is a new series of Shonen Anime that expands the phrase “Trash’s Trash is the treasure of another man” in the full epic of revenge. Isaiah Colbert, IO9: Fans are already calling Gachiakuta The next big thing in Shonin. What do you think gives it that special spark that distinguishes it from the anime of the classic and contemporary movement that came before that?

Praison Bogos: Big to the art style (GachiakutaIt is the key – the first thing you notice on this topic. Nothing there is completely similar Gachiakuta He does. The characteristics are unique, and the costumes are present, (and) the art of writing on the walls is great. With anime, music is good. All you have to do is really to make people check something to get that eye. Once they get there, they see these characters interact with each other. They see the relationships that build, and the world’s puzzles, and they really link viewers.

What makes this it appears instead of a handful of the other Shonin I have seen in the past is that he really loves to spend his time creating these characters and their relationships, and this is building the world, rather than jumping from fighting for fighting for fighting.

Christopher and Aquamb: I agree with all of that. The only thing I would like to add is that once you go beyond the eye and start checking (Gachiakuta), the power system in this story is really interesting. It gives you something to think about yourself, and gives you something to think about – the way the power system seems to be really referring to the background stories and the main moments of these characters.

Even just seeing a new personality and then seeing what “Jinky“Does your mind raises” what does that mean for them? WHere did that come? And “How is this related to what I see with this character?” This is really great.

IO9: We talked about it GachiakutaA unique world. I have made sure to be like a messy mixture of Mada MadnessHabiba with the villain on the walls border I get away with that. In addition, there are some Kaijo garbage monsters that were thrown into this mix. Do you have any mental audio or preparatory ritual that you use to take advantage of that energy before entering the cabin?

Pogos: I just try to stay wet. Rudo has a little tightness on his voice, which I do not usually do in many other characters, so I try to make sure that I got some warm tea, then I entered it. I just jump at the deep end as soon as I am there for registration.

Wehkamp: I developed rituals in 2018 or so. I had a particularly crowded season as I expressed something like seven different characters in seven different shows. They were not all great personalities, but they were all a kind of starting integration into my mind. I was going to the studio and depending on what I had on that day, I started linking different characters with different musical types or artists. So I will create a small running menu and listen to the songs on my way.

Now, at any time I have a repeated personality, whether it is anime, video game or anything that happens, I will link a kind of music with it. If I reach the leadership to the studio to do so, I will put it on it, and this helps to make me in a mentality associated with the personality. This way, when I walk in both, I already exists. I am in the area for that Wolrld for that character. It does not always work when I register from the house. I must sit in the cabin and run Spotify a little that will get me there as well. I do not do this all the time, but it helps in the characters that I know I will return to and I borrow them with music in my mind.

IO9: What is the song you play to enter the Enjin mood?

Wehkamp: I have what I call ROOTS ROCK, so it is not necessarily any one band. I like the fact that when I put an operating menu against a band, you will throw songs in my face, I may have not heard by an artist that I have never heard. In some way, this creates the link in my mind better. It is less than the actual band and song; It is more than the atmosphere. I couldn’t even tell you from the top of my head now, frankly, I just put in a playlist. IO9: Sheonen heroes often feel that they carry the weight of the world on their shoulders while adventure. However, Rodo is one who is steeped in the story of revenge, the Greek tragedy. How did you get close to expressing a constantly balanced personality between anger, sadness and hope?

Pogos: I try to think about the place where he sits in his heart. I feel that he has this anger on him, and I definitely feel that he has those moments in which he allows him to overcome him, for sure. But in essence, it is still just a child whose understanding is still trying to find his people there. He was rejected throughout his life. It was Rego As the father’s character, (but) this is all he has. He was Cheya When he was awake in the ball as a good friend, he grew up with him, but when things happened and he no longer had Cheya anymore, he was looking forward to restoring a lot of these relationships – trying to find that family that had never had.

Thus, I came to him from the security vulnerability instead of engaging in anger at everything. He has those moments, but I feel his default condition is a little more independent. He thinks about himself about what is going on, and he takes what is happening around him. I think he is learning from everyone around him how to deal with some situations he had not faced before, or how to better deal with situations than it was.

IO9: Enjin joins a long line of the Mentor type. If you managed to describe Engin’s philosophy in a few words – something that would be to Rodo as a wise advice – what would be?

Wehkamp: I immediately think it is attracted to what it considers the potential of Rodo. I can think that perhaps there is something behind it, “will be very suitable for Cleaners“Or” can definitely kill many garbage monsters. “It seems more valuable in it. Ground. Where does that move from, it is clear that we do not know, but I am very interested in discovering.

I still have drum storms that started to cut off my teeth when I was 14 or 15 years old. They struck, destroyed. But I would like to be able to pull it out anywhere, a ghostly cylinder group will appear, and I can start jamming anywhere.
