Investing.com – President Donald Trump’s comments on possible definitions raised 25 % targeting imports from Canada and Mexico concerns between European companies that have supply chains in these two countries, but revenues greater than exposure to assets to the United States.
In the Thursday note, Bofa highlighted dozens of European companies that are particularly exposed to these definitions due to their supply chain and revenue.
Among these stellantis (NYSE :), the Italian car manufacturer. According to Bofa, the company has 16 links to the supply chain in Canada and earns 47 % of its revenue from North America (NA), although not reporting the concrete exposure to assets in the United States.
Likewise, BMW (ETR :), another auto giant from Germany, has 18 supply chain links in Canada and derives 26 % of its revenues from the United States, while its assets are exposed to the United States sitting AST 18 %.
