Friends and family celebrate the return of the Israeli hostage
Alon Ohel was kidnapped by Hamas after he fled the Nova Music Festival in October 2023. More than two years later, Hamas released Mr. Ohel as part of a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

There are no words to describe how we feel. Best day of my life, really. It was very exciting for us and Alon. We jump at each other as we saw each other for the first time, and from now on we have to do everything to get our lives back, and it will happen. He will play the piano in his room and the music will heal him. I wish I knew my new brother. This is my new brother, my old brother, and my new brother that I hope to meet as he is today.
