The star of the movie, Gerard Depardio, one of the leading faces of French cinema, will face a trial on charges of raping actress Charlotte Arnold in 2018, in the latest blow to his reputation after being convicted of sexual assault earlier this year. Arnold was accused for the first time Deepardio of rape in 2018, saying that the attacks took place at his home in Paris on two separate occasions when she was in her early twenties. Depaardieu, 76, has denied any violations in the case.
