The Minister of the Interior says that at least four people were killed in a Russian missile overlooking an attack on the capital, Ukraine, Kiev.
In a post on social media, Ihor Klymento says that residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure have been injured.
“A whole section of a tall residential building has been destroyed” in the worst Shevchinkvsky area, adding that some people are besieged under the rubble.
In the Kiev region, a woman was killed and two others were injured in the Russian air attack, says regional president Mikola Kalashnik.
The Russian army did not comment on this issue.
Ukraine emergency service that DSNS says 13 people – including two children and a pregnant woman – were injured in Kiev.
