Steve Cooper, the former Nutingham forest manager, says he wants a “team that wins prizes” after returning to the administration with the Danish side Brundby.
Cooper returned to the administration for the first time since Leicester left last November.
“I want exactly what you want: a team that wins prizes and returns to the top of Danish football,” Cooper said in an open letter to Brundby fans. On the club’s website.
“I admire the values that the club holds. His roots in its local community. The dedication of the supporters who follow him.
“I am an ambition to win and know what this club can do when it is at its best.
“Brundbi’s ownership feels the same way and its vision of the club is a major part of the reason I am here. I hugged the challenge and I know that the players will do that as well.
“I think it is with us all – players, employees and fans – we will be a tremendous power.”
Cooper will be responsible for Derby on Saturday against FC Copenhagen.
Cooper Forest returned to the Premier League after more than 20 years, but the owner was erected by the owner Evangelos Marinakis in December 2023 and replaced him Nuno Espirito Santo before spending only five months in Leicester.
Nuno was dismissed on Monday night.
“Steve is a rare mix of youth, experience, vision and personality,” Football Director Benjamin Schmidis told the club.
“He is a man who can embrace a club like us and raise both the individual player and the entire club to a new level.”
Brundby, who finished third last season, is currently fourth in the Danish Superliga – four points behind the leaders FC Copenhagen after seven games.
