Thousands of firefighters fought with the huge flame in Spain and Portugal on Saturday, as parts of southern Europe, controlled by a heat wave.
The National Weather Agency in Spain said that the temperatures exceeded 44 degrees Celsius in several places on Saturday and warned of a great danger of fires across the “entire country”.
More than 1500 square kilometers (579 square miles) have been destroyed by fire in Spain and died seven people.
The thermal wave of southern Europe connects this week, prompting forest fires in Spain, Portugal, Greece, France and Balkan.
