Foreign citizens convicted of crimes from the United Kingdom will be deported as soon as the ruling was issued, according to the plans announced by the Sir Kiir Starmer government, as it seeks to provide a strong position on border security.

The plan depends on the legislation presented in June, which will allow, from September, to the government to deport a prisoner as soon as they spend 30 percent of its punishment, a decrease of 50 percent today.

Foreign citizens represent about 12 percent of prison residents in England and Wales, where dairy is the largest foreign sexual group in British prisons. The average annual cost of the prison place is 54,000 pounds, according to official figures.

Government data shows that 5,200 foreign national criminals have been deported since July 2024, an increase of 14 percent over the past 12 months.
