The brokerage’s platformless AI model has passed the RPLU certification tests for Cyber, Errors and Omissions, and Executive Liability modules. It may be very important as people struggle to obtain insurance in the wake of various disasters. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California, with research and development in Tel Aviv, Israel.

By achieving this level of accuracy, Flow said its expert brokers have real leverage: AI agents who can take useful action from brokers’ boards. This achievement celebrates the ability to expand access to expertise – a capability that is completely changing the dynamics of the specialty commercial insurance market.

Historically, small and medium businesses across all industries have struggled to find comprehensive coverage that enables them to transfer risks with confidence. This is because formulating trade policies requires the experience and time of brokers.

However, brokers, who are there to provide expertise in designing individual policies based on unique business needs, are only compensated for binding quotes (about one in four quotes). This compensation structure means that traditional brokers focus on large institutions that generate lucrative commissions. At the same time, SMEs remain vulnerable.

Flow is building an ecosystem of AI agents that serve as the world’s best assistants. Based on GPT 4.0 Omni core, Flow AI agents are trained on an ever-growing library of insurance material – samples, quotes, carrier risk appetites – and ongoing transactions of endless communication material and critical decision points. Flow’s AI agents not only know the materials, they also understand the trade-offs and considerations.

Flow said its hybrid approach to human mediators powered by AI agents goes beyond simply solving data problems. By digitizing knowledge, Flow’s internal workflow engine enables AI models to cross-reference materials, learn from mediator interactions, and evolve continuously.
