Fabio Wardli, heavyweight competitor, says the mercury Tyson Furi can suddenly retire as he announced his return.
Last week, France, a former world heavyweight champion, reversed the retirement decision and announced that he would return in 2026 to target a triple battle with OLKSANDR USYK.
Wardley from IPSWich now has the temporary TIT Inclist list of WBA, professionally interest in developments at the upper end of the Heavyweight section. But he maintains a dose of doubt when it comes to the latest role of Furi, as former world champion declared his retirement on multiple occasions.
“I never know what to believe in,” said Wardley Sky Sports News. “I never know what I believe in because I will not be surprised if next week says,” You know what I cannot disturb me, I have retired again. “
“I will believe that when we win a week or two or see a press conference. I don’t know with him sometimes. If it is turned off and we get a trilogy, it will be great.”
Wardley intends to work on his way across the WBA championship levels. He wants to win their “normal” belt before fighting for the WBA Super Championship, which is the world title currently carried by USYK.
“I don’t think I am far away. I’m not a fool, I am not a fool. I understand that there is still a lot of learning to do for me,” said Wardley, who recently defeated Justis Huni in Portman Road in June.
“I was not on my way (against Honey) and I had to learn at the present time, in the battle. I had to do all my education and all my experience in front of the crowd, in front of thousands of fans.
“I’m still learning, I am still collecting everything together, but I think in a fight or two I will get enough and I will get what is necessary to overcome my world title.”
He expects Usyk to be the undisputed hero again after Daniel Dubua faces London in the return match later this month.
“I find it difficult to bet against him,” Wardli said of Osik. “I am doing nine times among 10 British, I always want to see a British victory, I always want to see the belts returning to the homeland.
“But the form he is in, the way his work is going, it seems that it cannot be slightly denied at the present time.
“It is on a task that will not be stopped, and it will not get out of the path. So in one way or another I think he always finds a way.”
The Riviera Box Cup finals will be broadcast directly Sky Sports On August 17.
