On Friday, a young employee on the Nasdak Stock Exchange was launched at its positions related to Kirk.
Others have been exposed to the torrents of abuse online or saw their offices overwhelmed by calls to shoot, which are part of an increase in the right anger that followed the killing.
Shaya Richik, who runs the right “LIBS from Tiktok“The account known for its anti -immigrant activity, at the forefront of the campaign. The names, pictures and details have participated in the workplace for individuals who expressed sympathy for the death of Kerk.
In one case, Raichik targeted a lecturer at California State University, Monterey Bay, who wrote in the Instagram story: “I cannot mobilize a lot of sympathy, really. People will argue” he has a family, and has a wife and children “.
Reichke restored the copy of the lecturer, accusing him of sarcastically the assassination of Kirk.
The lecturer was not suspended, but many teachers were suspended throughout the United States – including California, Florida, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas – or their rejection of similar pain online. Syndicate leaders condemned the killing of Kirk, but they also warned against punishing the teachers of freedom of expression.
Richic also targeted the army members. One of the Coast Guard employees under investigation after Mimi’s publication says he is not interested in Kirk’s death. A former worker was distinguished on Twitter because of his criticism of New York Yanxiz due to a moment of silence for Kirk.
A newly registered website, “exposing Charlie’s killers”, contains 41 names of people claiming to “support political violence via the Internet” and claims to work to accumulate more than 20,000 requests.
Reuters review shows screenshots and comments posted on the site that some of those who have appeared joking about Kirk’s death or celebrated them. One of them was quoted as saying: “He got what he deserved,” and others quoted from providing differences in “Karma is a prostitute.” However, others criticize the extreme right -wing number while explicitly delegates violence.
Some institutions have already taken disciplinary measures. The Middle Tennessee State University rejected an assistant dean after she wrote: “It seems that Ol’charlie has its fate to exist. Hate hate. Sport sympathy.” The comment referred to Kirk’s 2023 defense of weapon violence, in which he argued: “I think it is useful to obtain a cost, unfortunately, some arms deaths every year so that we can get the second amendment … This is a wise deal. It is rational.”
Even the quotation of this observation was sufficient for some to target it.
Republican response
Some Republicans want to go further and suggest that Kirk’s critics from the United States, to sue them in Penury or prohibit them from social media for life.
“Prepare to clarify your professional ambitions in the entire future if you are sick enough to celebrate his death,” said conspiracy Laura Lumer, a prominent ally of Trump and one of many far -right figures who are organizing digital campaigns on X to get out of Kirk critics.
The extinguishing and suspension wave raised concerns about freedom of expression, while extremist right -wing activists celebrate what they see as an accountability.
The American legislator, Clay Higgins, said in a post on X that anyone “ran his mouth with his smart hatred to celebrate the heinous killing of this beautiful young man” needs “a ban from all platforms forever.”
US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said on the same site that he felt disgusted by “some vision of social media praises, rationalized, or shed light on this event, and our consulate officials ordered an appropriate action.”
Republican anger contradicts those who respect Kerk’s heritage with ridicule of the same characters – including Kirk – to the victims of former political violence.
For example, when the wife of Paul Pelosi, former House of Representatives, at the head of a conspiracy theorist during a storming period in their home in San Francisco shortly before the mid -period elections 2022, Higgins published a picture of the attack. He later deleted the post.
Lomer falsely suggested that Paul Pelosi and his attacker were lovers, and called for the brutal attack on the Octogenic “The appeal of the spoils has made a mistake.”
Speaking to a television audience a few days after the attack, Kirk called a broad smile to spread from prison.
He said: “If there are some amazing patriots in San Francisco or the Gulf region, he wants to be a hero in the middle of the period, then someone must go out and save this man.”
