T-Mobile has announced that Srini Gopalan as an upcoming executive president, as of November 1, 2025. GoPalan, Mike Siever, who will move to the role of the newly formed chairman. This change change comes at a time when the American telecommunications industry faces organizational and operational challenges, such as increasing costs of high H-1B visa fees. GoPalan’s promotion indicates T-Mobile’s commitment to digital transformation and a data-based approach to these transformations.
In T-Mobile, Gopalan was pivotal in forming technology and consumer strategies. As CO, he supervised the acquisitions that expanded the 5G networks and fiber in the United States and led its efforts to make T-Mobile more based on data and empowering AI, developing the company’s ambition to be the most digital operator in this sector.
Optical CEO Mike Severt expressed his confidence in Joballan, saying: “Sarini was an incredible partner in shaping the future of T-Mobile as well as a fundamental role in leading the record growth this year. It became one clear fact: SRINI is ready to lead.”
Joballan admitted the influence of Severt, saying: “Mike has done a tremendous work in converting T-Mobile into the most successful communications in the world and a disturbing creator to customers. I am committed to building his legacy in the customer’s position first while continuing to expand our incendiary strategy.”
The American telecommunications sector suffers from organizational uncertainty and operational pressure, especially due to the high H-1B-1B-1B-an issue that the Indians originally observed.
GoPalan brings more than thirty years of experience through communications, technology and financial services. Previously, Deutsche Telekom has led in Germany, doubled growth and expanding fiber operation. He also held leadership roles in Bharti Aartel, Vodafone, and has held a senior position of T-Mobile UK marketing officials.
His background includes nearly a decade in Capital One as the first vice president and head of the UK card, and previous roles in Acceneture and Unilever India.
Jubalan received his education at Delhi General School, RK Puram, and completed his administrative studies at the Indian Institute of Administration, Ahmedabad in 1992.
