Arsenal legend Ian Wright has made a rather worrying claim about the mood inside Emirates Stadium at the moment.
The Gunners are going through a bit of a difficult period of form at the moment, having recently lost 2-0 at home to Newcastle United in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final, before losing on penalties to Manchester United to crash out of the FA Cup a few days later.
Arsenal bounced back by beating Tottenham in the north London derby, but then they came back They let a 2-0 lead slip to a 2-2 draw at home with Aston Villa During the weekend.
Wright admitted that the mood inside the club is very tense at the moment, and he is concerned about the impact this could have.
Arsenal came close to winning the Premier League title last season, and if they miss out again this year, they may begin to feel that the opportunity to make the most of this golden period has passed.
Ian Wright talks about Arsenal’s worrying situation

Arsenal fans will be concerned about unconvincing performances on the pitch at the moment, and Wright has suggested that things are not looking good off the pitch either.
He talks about it Podcast“I’m unfortunately very stressed out by the energy around the club,” Wright said. Everyone is very stressed and very anxious.
“I think it stems from the pressure we put on ourselves at the beginning of the season. As soon as a few games didn’t go right, people were saying it was over.
“I feel like we’re in that kind of situation. Everyone goes straight to the negativity but we have to support what this coach is trying to do and support the players.
“We have 17 games left. Are we honestly supposed to believe that Liverpool will win all their matches?
“I think Jamie Carragher said we needed to win 15 of our remaining games, we couldn’t afford to lose two, and now we can’t even afford to lose one.
“Why do they make all the statements about Arsenal all the time? And then the Arsenal fans embrace everything.
