Ethiopia to Israel: Secret Trips Migration

Isolated from many Judaism for several centuries and now discrimination against Israel today. This is the story of an ancient Jewish society known as the Flashha Jews – primarily from Ethiopia – and the controversial political smuggling that I brought from Sudan to Israel in the 1980s. In the late twentieth century, Fesha Jews (also known as the Beta Israel) faced persecution and famine, which prompted a great migration to Israel.

However, Israel has not been recognized by the Arab countries and many African countries – so countries like Ethiopia and Sudan cannot be visible to help Israel strengthen its inhabitants. Therefore, Mossad and the Central Intelligence Agency conducted the secret operation, Moses to transfer thousands of Ethiopian Jews from the refugee camps in the Sudanese desert. When these tasks were discovered, huge political repercussions in Sudan were caused. Moreover, the Jews found in Fesha who reached Israel themselves marginalized and are still facing challenges integrating into Israeli society today.
