Elon Musk says it launches a new political party, after weeks of dramatic falls with US President Donald Trump.

The billionaire announced on the social media platform that it had established America and described it as a challenge to the regime of the Republican and Democrats.

However, it is unclear whether the party has been officially registered with the American election authorities, and Musk has not provided details about who will lead it or what the form it will require.
