As tensions between India and Pakistan continued to rise after the Sindooor operation and the deadly terrorist attack, the founder and president of Easemytrip and the Chairman of the Board of Directors Nishant Pitti urged Indian travelers to limit travel to Türkiye and Azerbaijan unless this is necessary.
This consultant comes in the wake of the diplomatic discomfort after Turkey and Azerbaijan have publicly supported Pakistan, a move that took criticism from the Indian circles amid the current situation that resembles war between the two neighboring.
“After Pahalgam’s attack and the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, travelers are urged to stay aware. Türkiye and Azerbaijan have also shown support for Pakistan, we strongly recommend the visit only if necessary.”
He added: “Very concerned about the recent developments. In Easeytrip, the safety of passengers is our top priority. We advise all our customers to maximum exercises and stay on the knowledge of official travel consultations before planning trips to sensitive areas.”
The terrorist attack in Paalgam on April 22, 2025, which killed 26 people, caused the accuracy of India under the operation of the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Kashmir, which is occupied by Pakistan. In revenge, Pakistan tried to strike on Indian military facilities, which increased the intensification of the regional conflict.
The Republic of Turkiye and Azerbaijan issued statements on Wednesday condemning the India Sendor operation against Pakistan’s terrorist strongholds in response to the April 22 attack on tourists in the valley. He also stated, “We call on the parties to practice a good sense and refrain from mono -side measures. We expect measures to reduce tensions in the region as soon as possible and the necessary mechanisms, including in the fight against terrorism, will be placed in place on April 22.
Azerbaijan also showed support for Pakistan citizens and urged India and Pakistan to resolve their struggle safely through diplomatic channels.
“The Republic of Azerbaijan expresses its concern about more escalating tension between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We condemn military attacks against the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which killed many civilians and wounded them that they need to be involved.
