Dylan Operation is excellent in a dark comedy that goes to unexpected places

“Twinless” can go in a possible two -way. There is a real opportunity because the James Sweeini movie can become a kind of light comic comedy for errors as a mistake leads to the other and the problems that continue to accumulate. Or maybe it could be a dark and wrapped thing, closer to this year Establishment Tim Robinson Dust “Friendship”. Instead, Sweeini, who wrote, directed, and participated in the movie, tries to walk in a tight rope between them and get it. It is not always successful, and there are times that the movie does not seem to realize that one of its characters is, let’s say, troubled As clearly. However, “Twinless” is also a sad funny personal study that includes a wonderful performance from Dylan Operation, and presents what it is Perhaps the best work in his career yet.

Operen is Roman, who suddenly deals with the death of his identical twin, Rocky (Operen also gets Rocky playing in the short -ranked flashback, and the way it makes Rocky feel like a completely different person aims to some extent his quality here). The Rocky funeral that opens the movie is embarrassing as you might imagine, with Rocky friends commenting that just looking at Roman, who shares the face of his dead brother, is a surrealist.

Roman began his grief, not the best in delivering his feelings, in the presence of a support group of other people who also lost twins to death. Here he meets Roman Dennis (Suene), and men make up a sudden friendship. Gay Dennis, like Rocky Can, Roman sees some kind of contact there. But there is more than friendship more than that, and Roman Dennis soon calls to go on food only so that he does not have to go alone.

Now I have to make sure carefully. There is an evolution – its wrap, in it – in “Twinless” that should not be destroyed before seeing it. All I will say is that it greatly changes the course of the movie and the tone of the movie and shows that Sueini does not care about making Rom Enzy in general, and he has something much darker, and more concerned about. Unfortunately, while Swine’s text is sharp and intelligent, his performance as Dinis miss something.

Or maybe it seems this way because Operation is leading. Since Roman is not exactly the most exact characters, the actor uses a lot of body language here to convey what is happening in the minds of Roman, and the performance ends frankly. Also good is Aisling Franciosi in the role of Marce, one of Dennis’s co -workers who fall into Roman, disturb Dennis. At a certain stage, there are not many places where the story can go, and certainly, it is revealed along a somewhat predictable path. Repeat is repeated and the viewer begins to feel as if they were shaving themselves.

Despite these issues, Garners “Twinless” laughs because it explodes in increasingly ridiculous directions. Whenever the film is about to lose me, I brought me back and wonderful operation. It is really good here, frankly, it may be enough.
