The international airport in Goma has been evacuated, and commercial flights are temporarily grounded as fighting between Rwandan-backed rebels and government forces surrounds the main city in eastern Congo, leaving at least 13 peace lawyers and foreign soldiers dead and thousands of civilians dead.
