Donald Trump compared the American strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities with the bombings in the Second World War to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as he refused to leak the intelligence, which suggested that the effect was limited.

Describing the weekend attack as “blurring” the sites, the US president said he brought the conflict between Iran and Israel to a quick conclusion and semi -strikes with nuclear bombs that decreased in Japan in 1945.

“I don’t want to use an example of Hiroshima, I do not want to use an example of Nagasaki, but this was the same thing – which ended the war,” Trump said at the NATO summit in The Hague on Wednesday.

He added: “This war has ended (Israel Iran). If we do not take (outside the nuclear facilities), they will fight now.”

Trump said that the intelligence leaked on Tuesday, which said that the American strikes had only restored the Iranian nuclear program by a few months, was not decisive.

Trump’s appearance at the NATO summit comes a day after the initial ceasefire between Iran and Israel 12 days after the war.

The President scolded the two sides on Tuesday due to the alleged violations of the US truce, saying he was “really unhappy” with Israel in particular.

But in The Hague, he said he was “very proud” of Israel to limit its revenge for an alleged violation of the ceasefire by Tehran, adding: “(Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) should be Netanyahu proud of himself.”

Trump said he believed that Iran’s in stock of enriched uranium by 60 percent of purity was hit by American strikes at the weekend.

“I think they had no chance to get anything (from the accompanying) … it’s very difficult to remove this type of material,” he said.

“I think we will eventually end a relationship with Iran,” the US president added, saying: “The last thing Tehran wants to continue in the nuclear enrichment program.

When asked whether the United States could strike Iran again if the Islamic Republic has redefined its nuclear infrastructure in the future, Trump said: “Certainly.”
