After reviewing dozens Of drones of all shapes, sizes and prices, they recently reached the conclusion that drones are smaller, lighter and cheaper are the way to go to 90 percent of consumers. Done aircraft, with all their equipment and airline regulations, were not logical. But then, DJI launched the MAVIC 4 Pro, MAVIC 4 Pro, and made me fall in love again. Yes, this impressive drone plane.

But before I dive into the good camera tremendously and a long distance, it is important to note that the MAVIC 4 Pro will not be officially available in the United States. yet. In addition to the ongoing issues about aviation and security restrictions, a DJI WIRED spokesman told, “Like many international companies, we had to control our market strategy with the development of local conditions and the industry environment has evolved. Although we do not have a time schedule when we can present the product to the United States market, we are closely monitoring the situation and exploring every possible solution.”

However, MAVIC 4 Pro has been listed Photo B&H for $ 2,699It is very optimistic. It is not for sale, but there is at least some hope.

The focal hero

So what makes Mavic 4 Pro great? It is mostly to the camera. Or cameras, I must say. Just like its predecessor, mavic 3 Pro (9/10 recommends wire), MAVIC 4 Pro has three cameras. There is a high -standing high -standing camera with a slightly medium and medium TELEPHOTO cameras. The equivalent lengths of the three are 28 mm, 70 mm and 168 mm respectively.

They are all improvements to the MAVIC 3 Pro cameras. The show star features a new 4/3 sensor capable of 100 megapixels, a photo and a 6K video piece at 60 frames per second (or 4K at 120 frames per second, to play slow slow movement), with 16 amazing stations of dynamic range. It also has an adjustable opening, allowing pilots to choose anything between F/2.0 and F/11.0.

Other cameras sensors are slightly smaller, the video is limited to 4K, and their openings are fixed in F/2.8, but all three cameras can capture the 10-bit video using D-Log, D-Log or HLG files. In other words, they are all designed to make pro -quality weather films.

Better, it is installed on a completely new design for GIMBAL capable of recycling and tilt freely. This does not mean that it can be directed directly to the top, but it can also rotate to capture the content directed towards the real image, or completely coordinating it to the like Tiktok, Instagram Perks or Shorts on YouTube.

All of the above makes the creative capabilities of MAVIC 4 Pro something to see. It is a great air camera in almost any lighting conditions (Hasselblad 28 mm is especially capable of at night, for example) and a range of its movement and choosing focal lengths that make it incredibly multi -use. If something else was accomplished in that Consumer dronesThe wise image quality, I haven’t faced it yet.

Aviation Club

The possibilities of aircraft drones are also great, to the new touches to save time, such as the fact that they work automatically when detecting. The battery life is now 51 minutes, and it is a noticeable improvement over a period of 43 minutes of MAVIC 3 Pro, while the drone dynamic design makes the trip faster and quieter.

4 Pro is also the first MAVIC model that comes with a Lidar sensor front confrontation, which, when cooperating with low -light vision sensors that excel over all directions, gives this drone much more empty awareness and the ability to control, even in less well -known lighting conditions. This works well with its tracking capabilities, which allows it to keep the camera accurately focus on people, boats and vehicles while transferring them manually or independently.

Home capabilities were also upgraded. It now provides the videos of the videos that are automatically returning to the take -off point without using GPS. I also managed to move the home point to the current console’s position instead of the takeoff point, which is a useful feature if you are trying the drone from a car or mobile boat.

Control unit upgrade

DJI sent me both regular and new RC 2 RC 2 Pro Controller (1,299 dollars) for a test with MAVIC 4 Pro, and while the first works well enough, RC 2 Pro really improves the experiment. Its screen is larger and brighter and can be rotated by 90 degrees to act more similar to the smartphone (it is run on Android, so that you can install third -party applications), and run them automatically when lifting the screen from the body. This movement also leads to the appearance of thumb sticks, which means that you should not install them every time the console is used.

All in all, the MAVIC 4 Pro represents a great upgrade to its already impressive predecessor and makes the idea of having a drone larger again very attractive. Although it is correct that the heavier drones are subject to many restrictions (often exhausting) compared to very light weight models, but it seems that additional paper works and care around the flight sites seem to be a price worth paying when doing this.

As for the actual price of the MAVIC 4 Pro, it is called it expensive but good – that you have provided that you will actually benefit from the extensive capabilities of this drone. If you are just looking for something to enter the air and pick up some of the good -looking shots, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is much cheaper (8/10 recommends wireIt is all you need. If you want flexibility and strength to create something special, Mavic 4 Pro has – and more.

I just hope that DJI will be able to move around the continuous uncertainty in the Trump administration tariff, because it will be a real shame if this drone is not great in the United States.
