Discord Social Platform has announced a new feature today called Decration. This allows anyone to hide any new messages, DMS, server notifications, profiles and activity from the chosen users without alerting them. When the update was unveiled, Discord noted that this type of softer approach to reduce reactions has been requested by his community. It is a less strict way to control a person compared to his ban.
In practice, the DMS recovered from a person who is ignored in the incoming box will appear with an icon and a gray name, so that it will be available if thegoreer chooses to look at it. The same applies to the messages in if a person chose to ignore an account of what joins a voice or video chat where this person is ignored, and Discord will show a warning alert before he jumps to the call.
Ignore can be activated from several places, including the drop -down menu that appears when clicking on the account of the account. A list of all the accounts that were ignored and prohibited visible on the content and social tab for user settings.
