In only five meetings over nine weeks, US Steve Wittouf’s special envoy has done more than in four years of nuclear negotiations with the failed Biden administration. We were on the threshold of a historical penetration. To deal with us, Iran may one day transform its peaceful nuclear program, as we conducted detailed Francological discussions – including in the future of Iranian uranium enrichment. Equally important, we also focused on ending the sanctions and the participation of the United States in the broader economic cooperation that constituted a trillion dollar chance. Iran was open to the useful cooperation of both parties that stimulate the Iranian economy and address the priority of US President Donald Trump to revive the American industries that died, such as the nuclear energy sector.

Things were looking, with a wave of messages. But just 48 hours before the sixth pivotal meeting, Israel launched an unprecedented attack on my country. In addition to protecting nuclear facilities, homes, hospitals, infrastructure for basic energy and even prisons, they have been bombed. The cowardly killings were carried out for academics and their families. This was a deep betrayal of diplomacy. Since the Iran-United States dialogue was finally gaining momentum, the reckless bombing sent an unambiguous message: Israel prefers the struggle over the decision.

Israel falsely claimed that its air strikes aim to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. In fact, as a signature of the non -proliferation treaty, Iran was always committed to a peaceful nuclear program under the United Nations monitoring. Any decent country will also get the attack, Iran strongly resisted the aggression until Israel was forced to rely on President Trump to end the war it started.

After appearing once, Iran is now cautious. Our commitment to act with responsibility should not be explained to avoid a large -scale regional war as weakness. We will defeat any future attack on our people. And if today comes, we will reveal our true capabilities, to dispel any illusions about Iran’s strength.

It goes without saying that the progress made in talks between Iran and the United States has been sabotaged; Not by Iran, but by one ally of America. Not to mention the fateful decision by the United States to allow itself to eliminate international law and NPT with its own strikes.

Although Iran has received in recent days messages indicating that the United States may be ready to return to negotiations, how can we trust more participation? Iran signed a comprehensive nuclear deal with six countries in 2015, including the United States, which was canceled by Washington unilaterally after three years. After agreeing to new negotiations in good faith, we saw Hassan Natimana, however, with an attack by two nuclear armed armies.

Iran remains interested in diplomacy, but we have a good reason for doubts about more dialogue. If there is a desire to solve this friendly, the United States must appear in a real preparation for a fair agreement. Washington should also know that its actions in recent weeks have changed the situation.

The Iranians will never agree to surrender. Iran is a thousand years old civilization that overcame countless invasions, and it appears stronger each time. We have always preferred peace, but we were always the ones who decide when and how the aggression ends against our people. The Israeli regime’s miscalculation has also proven that the Iranians have always gathered in harmony against the aggressors.

The negotiations under the shadow of the war are unstable by nature, and the dialogue that was followed up amid threats was never real. In order for diplomacy to succeed, it must be based on mutual respect. Also, it cannot escape permanent sabotage by third parties to fear a decision. The American people deserve to know that their country is pushed towards an unjustified war that is unjustified by a foreign regime that does not participate in its interests. As for Washington, he must know that aggression made our scholars and their accomplishments more dear to us than ever.

Trump’s promise to “America first”, in practice, is twisted to “Israel First”. After witnessing the sacrifice of thousands of American spirits and the waste of trillion of taxpayers in our region, the Americans seem to have enough. The path towards peace requires recognition in the United States that respectable dialogue, not reckless coercion, is the only sustainable way forward.

The choice is America. Will the United States finally choose diplomacy? Or will it remain in the war of another person?
