“Death Knell for Industry”: Blocking games to kill two jobs, and closed 400 companies, warning bodies

The best online gaming associations in India wrote to the Minister of Interior Amit Shah, and urged him to reject a proposed bill that seeks to ban real games. They warn that such a move “will strike a death” for a fast -growing digital industry that uses a whisper and contributes thousands of crushers to taxes.

In a joint appeal dated August 19, the ALL India (AIGF), the Electronic Games Federation (EGF), and the FIFS Sports Federation (FIFS) sought to “urgently intervene” to Shah to stop the draft law that proposes a comprehensive ban on all real money games-including the skill.

“The bill, if passed, will lead to serious harm,” the message states. “This will push the players of the players to the hands of the illegal MATKA networks, gambling sites abroad, and flight operators.”

The federations argue that instead of protecting users, the embargo will dismantle an organized industry and expose Indian citizens to the notable platforms, which are not subject to tax, which is likely to be exploitative – many of which constitute fears of national security.

With the value of the joint organization, more than 2 crores of Rubia Lakha, the online skills games sector achieved 31,000 rupees of revenue and contributed more than 20,000 rupees to taxes annually. More than two people are employed and attracted 25,000 rupees in foreign direct investment until mid -2012, according to the message.

“Such a comprehensive ban would collide with death of this legitimate industry that creates jobs,” she says, warning that more than 400 companies may be forced to close and that the image of India as a digital innovative will suffer.

Instead of banning, industrial bodies scrambled to the gradual organization to ensure consumer safety, responsible game practices, and continuous economic growth.

They asked for a meeting with Shah to present alternatives “that would keep illegal operators in the Gulf” while supporting the goals of the digital economy in India.
