The second league club announced that the consortium led by David Beckham and Gary Neville includes a number of international businessmen who bought the city of Salford City.
Beckham and Neville were the former Manchester United, and England teammates, Beckham and Nevil, were part of the former ownership group, along with his “92” classmate such as Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt, who took over in 2014.
Their financial support received four promotional offers in five seasons, where Salvord climbed a non -league system and to the Football League in 2019.
They have been in the second league since then, which prompted Beckham and Nevil to take action.

Commitment to “investing greatly”
A club statement wrote: “SCFC announced today that the club has been obtained by a new ownership group led by David Beckham and Gary Neville, with the US businessman Diklan Kelly and Roses Mirfin Davis, who will work as both the new club chairs.
“The acquisition includes an obligation by new shareholders to invest in the club and the team and its facilities.
“The acquisition has been organized uniquely, through a member club consisting of nine shareholders including Dream Sports Group (the leading sports technology company in India), Collin Ryan (founder, Clipper Street Capital), Frank Ryan (global co-chair, Global Co-COO, and America Chair, DLA PIPER), Nick Woodhouse (Devitive Vice Brands).
“These shareholders have extensive experience in working with many of the world’s largest companies and brands. The membership group has been created specifically to include executives derived from different backgrounds across the financing, media, media, technology, and entertainment sectors to increase the effect and contribution that can have the club to move forward.”
The Bot Pot confirms, Giggs, Paul Schools and Phil Neville will continue to contribute to the roles in “technology, football, commercial, employment and Scfc”.

“I grew up in Salford. I have wonderful memories of my time to live there and the place and her people played this important part of my early life in football,” said Beckham, who is a president and owner of the MLS between the Miami.
“Salvord City is at the heart of her community, and it has a rich history and I am pleased to be part of the next chapter.”
