Cristiano Ronaldo says there is no “termination” after concluding a new deal with Nasser in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The football icon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has multiplied by signing a new contract of two years, and extending its residence in the professional league until June 2027.

The new agreement comes at a time when its previous deal was expired on June 30. Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Al Nasr in 2022 from newspaper headlines, not only for the same transfer but for a record salary that the highest-paid athlete in the world-a title he kept for three years in a row.

While his personal statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are impressive, 93 goals are in 105 games, the team’s success was more essential. Since his arrival, Al-Nasser only managed to seize the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023. In playing in the league, he finished second in the seasons of 2022-23 and 2023-24 and decreased to the third period.

Despite the frustration of the club, Ronaldo continues to make history with his national team. Earlier this month, he added another cup to the International Cabinet by registering in the final of the Nations League against Spain.

After the final whistle, he said: “I have many titles with clubs, but there is no better than winning Portugal,” he said after the final whistle.

He spoke after he operated his new deal: “The ambition that I feel does not have the finish line. It is consistency, commitment and teamwork that will make us better. This is the task that I am here. We have started a new chapter!”

His career in Ronaldo is currently 932 goals – 794 in football for the club and 138 for Portugal. With this new contract, it approaches the sign of 1000 goals, an achievement that would enhance its legendary position in world football.

Instead of accepting an offer to participate in the club’s World Cup with a different team, Ronaldo chose to focus on preparations before the season with Nasser. His decision is in line with the changes in the club, as they announced the departure of the main coach Stefano Pioli after less than a year.
