“Caitlin has the ability to form up to only half a million dollars with WNBA wages this year. So, of course, they only look at the base of collectively negotiating. In fact, it is low because it is the first choice. It will be made a little more.”
“She also has millions and millions of dollars (in). Because she announced to become a professional, her approvals are higher in the value of the dollar. She has a global platform now, not only an American platform. So, she will do a good job just as big players in the league do as does every league.”
Eldelbert made comments a few days after choosing Clark with a choice number 1 in the draft WNBA 2024 by fever. The WNBA base in Clark was only $ 76,535.

While dealing with the alleged comments about Clark, Engelbert denied making it.

However, Englbert has not explicitly denying the alleged comments about players who “should be on their knees.” Instead, the Commissioner responded to the claim that there was a lot of “inaccuracy” reported in the media.
“There is a lot of accuracy through social media and all this reports,” Engelbert said. “A lot of reports, and a lot of ingenuity about what I say, what I did not say.”

However, Engelbert admitted that if the players do not feel “appreciated”, it “has to do better.”
“I felt frustrated to hear that some players feel the league and that I personally do not care or listen to them,” said Engelbert before the 1 match of the WNBA on Friday night.
