The Colombian singer Shakira said that she canceled her concert on Sunday in Lima after she was taken to the hospital in a abdominal condition.

Shakira shared a statement on her Instagram accounts and X on Sunday afternoon, saying that she had been transferred to the hospital and informed her doctors that she was not in work.

“I am very sad because I will not be able to take the stage today. I was very emotional and excited about my beloved Peruvian fans.”

The singer arrived in Peru on Friday evening, and he was scheduled to be presented on Sunday and Monday. The country is the second leg of its tour in Latin America, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloraan, after two nights in Brazil last week.
