In response to US threats of sanctions, Colombia has agreed to accept returning citizens on military flights, the White House announced Sunday. Although Colombia has not confirmed this, the United States will halt plans to impose new tariffs and sanctions on Latin America’s fourth-largest economy, pending Colombia’s “unrestricted acceptance” of its citizens.
