“Punjabi aa gaye oye,” Coldplay’s Chris Martin delighted his Indian fans when he read Diljit Dosanjh’s catchphrase from a poster during his concert in Abu Dhabi.

Martin, who is scheduled to perform in India later this month, was interacting with the crowd at Zayed Sports City Stadium when he saw a fan holding a poster that included the phrase. The line, commonly used by Dosanjh during his performances, quickly caught Martin’s attention.

Without hesitation, Martin read the phrase aloud, eliciting loud cheers from the audience. “We love you too,” he added, smiling.

Diljit’s official team shared the heartwarming moment on Instagram Stories, captioning the video, “Chris Martin says PUNJABI AA GAYE OYE…..!!!! Chris Martin reading Coldplay fans’ posters and flags is very meaningful.”
