Bloomingdale’s plans to close its massive store inside the San Francisco Center shopping mall in the coming months.

FOX Business has reached out to Trident Pacific Real Estate Group, the company that became the recipient of the San Francisco mall in 2023, and JLL, the company listed on the mall’s website as managing the property, for comment on Bloomingdale’s departure from the site.

Mayor Daniel Lowry called Bloomingdale’s withdrawal “disappointing” in a post on X on Tuesday.
