Hong Kong (Reuters) – City Group said on Monday that she appointed Winji Zhang as a new rural officer and a banking chief in China, after leaving her former Chinese president in November.
The company said in a statement that Chang was also appointed as Citibank China. The date is subject to organizational approvals.
The company said that it would serve as a main City representative and as a coordinated face in the China market on the mainland, as he led the team and enhanced strong organizational relations and risk controls.
The role will be filled after the departure of former City China Luke in November for personal reasons.
The bank said that Zhang will join City in July and will be based in Shanghai, where it has been reported to Mark Luet, President of City in Japan, Asia in the north, Australia and banking services.
Zhang, a 30 -year -old -year -old banker in banking and institutional business, has recently been head of China and Shanghai Branch of America, China, according to City.
Before that, he was a participant in Global Banking and Executive Present at HSBC China, after work periods at JPMorgan, Citi and Credit Agricole CIB.
Two familiar people told Reuters last month, as the bank is looking to employ its world employees for such operations to improve risk management and data governance.
CITI, which already has a banking company in China, is about to create a securities unit in the country.
