Even today, I can count on one finger the amount of smart rings that provide a single-line ECG in such a small package. Body measurement circle+ It debuted in 2021, but what it had in terms of heart monitoring features it lacked in style, or even the look of a real ring. Today in Consumer Electronics Show 2025but, circular She shows off her second-generation ring that promises to monitor your heart health.

We had the chance to take a look at the rings today at the CES unveiling and they really shine. It also feels noticeably lightweight. The sensor nodes inside the rings are noticeable when you first slip on the ring, but after a minute or so of wearing them, it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a ring at all.

The circular says the Ring 2 features improved sensors in addition to the aforementioned EKG, up to eight days of battery life and a better wireless charging dock. The company added that its accompanying app and artificial intelligence have been completely redesigned to provide a “more intuitive and accurate user experience.” Not to mention, the body is now cast in titanium in four colors; Gold, silver, black, rose gold.

This latest generation doesn’t have the vibrations found in Circular’s first-generation rings, but the company’s co-founder told us that vibrations will be back in the next version. Right now, the second-generation rings are supposed to hit store shelves in February or March 2025, but the company says they’ll set you back $380 when they do.
