Google has just announced an upgrade to Chrome’s Improved protection feature. On the desktop, the Gmini Nano is now used to protect users from remote fraud. According to Google, the Great Language Model on the Chrome device allows to protect people from fraud that the company has not seen before.

“(Gemini Nano) is perfect for this use because of its ability to distort the diverse and complex nature of web sites, which helps us to tactically with new fraud tactics more quickly,” says Google. The company plans to use this artificial intelligence approach to a larger set of future fraud.

Meanwhile, Android users can look forward to stronger protection against fraud that uses chrome notifications as an attack. Google again turned into machine learning to present this feature. “When the Automatic learning model on the Chrome device takes a notification, you will receive a warning with an option to either cancel the subscription or display the content that has been banned,” explains Google. “And if you decide that the warning was incorrectly displayed, you can choose to allow future notifications from this site.”

Frauds were a great axis of Google last year. In May, for example, the company Inspection System to make alert alerts in actual time during phone calls. Recently, the company has provided a set of safety features to Messages. As a result of her efforts, Google says it prevents hundreds of millions of results related to fraud from reaching its users.
