I want you to lock me up so I can’t get out. That will be helpful for me in doing this performance because I’m completely stuck in here.”

While showing things through shots through Chris Raven’s eyes may seem like an effective way to ramp up the tension in Mercy, it also feels a little reminiscent of War of the Worlds, which was similarly shown through low-res surveillance footage of Ice Cube’s desktop.
