Illinois leaders went to the court on Monday to prevent President Donald Trump from sending the National Guard forces to Chicago, and escalated from the clash between the democratic and republican administration states during the enforcement of aggressive immigration in the third largest city in the country.
The legal challenge came hours after the judge prohibited the publication of the goalkeeper in Portland, Oregon.
The Trump administration depicted the cities as the cultivation of war and illegal amid the government’s campaign of illegal immigration. Illinois and Origon officials say the military intervention is not required and that federal participation is raising the situation.
The lawsuit claims that “these developments in the declared” war “that President Trump revolves around Chicago and Illinois is illegal and dangerous.”
The lawsuit says: “The American people should not, regardless of the place where they reside, live under the threat of the occupation by the United States army, especially because the leadership of their city or the state has left the president’s benefit,” the lawsuit says.
Ruler: The federal wave is “invasion”
Illinois governor, JB Pritzker, a democratic, said that about 300 state guards must be placed in federation and deployed in Chicago, along with 400 others from Texas.
Pritzker said that a possible publication was a “Trump’s invasion”, and he called on the governor of Texas Republican Greg Abbott to prevent him. Abbott retreated and said that the campaign necessary to protect federal workers who are in the city as part of the increasing enforcement of the president’s migration.
White House spokeswoman Abeel Jackson confirmed in a statement of the weekend that Trump authorized the use of members of the National Guard in Illinois, citing what he called “violent riots and chaos” that local leaders have not suppressed.
In Chicago, the armed border patrol patrols scene inflated arrests near the famous landmarks of the people who are already uncomfortable after the immigration campaign that started last month. The agents have targeted the Latin migratory and Latin areas to a large extent.
The mayor of Chicago Brandon Johnson said on Monday that he signed an executive order prohibiting federal immigration agents and other use of city owned property, such as parking lots, fertilizers and vacant quantities, such as training areas for enforcement.

The demonstrators often gathered near a migration facility outside the city, and Federal officials reported the arrest of 13 protesters on Friday near the migration and customs building in the United States in BroadView. Mayor Katrina Thompson, a martyr of safety and other factors, said that she had limited the protests until 9 am until 6 pm
Elsewhere in the area, the Ministry of Internal Security confessed that the agents shot a woman on Saturday on the southwestern side of Chicago. The administration said that it occurred after the border patrol agents in the area “vehicles and besieged by 10 cars.”
Chicago Police Director Larry Sinling said it was reasonable for agents to believe that they were an ambush.
Portland says any crime crisis there
In Portland, on Sunday, the American boycott judge was granted IMMERGUT, a temporary order for Oregon and California to prevent the escort forces from being deployed from those states to the city.
IMMERGUT, which was appointed by Trump during his first term, seemed unbelievable that the president moved to send the National Guard forces to the neighboring Oregon state from California and then from Texas on Sunday, just hours after its ruling against it the first time.
“Isn’t the defendant to be wandering simply at my request?” She said. “Why is this suitable?”
Local officials have suggested that many of the president and social media demands about Portland seem to rely on the photos from 2020.
There was a continuous and low -level protest outside the Portland Ice facility, but it was less disturbing than the city center’s confrontations in 2020 when the demonstrations broke out after the death of George Floyd.
Most violent crimes have already decreased throughout the United States in recent years, including in Portland, where murders fell from January to June 51 % to 17 this year compared to the same period in 2024.
Since the beginning of his second term, Trump has sent or talked about sending forces to 10 cities, including Baltimore; Memphis, Tennessee; Columbia County; New Orleans and California cities in Auckland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
A federal judge said in September that the administration was “deliberately” broke federal law by deploying the guard forces to Los Angeles due to the protests over immigration raids.
