Praise the hole for Liverpool players after the death of Gota
Liverpool coach said last Thursday that he was very proud of how the Premier League champion dealt with the tragedy.
He said: “This summer was difficult for everyone associated with the club. Diogo Jota’s death had a major impact on all of us, which is still with it.
“We cannot imagine the pain that the Dugo family, his wife, children and friends are going through, and the club will continue to provide all the support they can move forward.
“Dugo’s death had a great impact on all of us, but what was very important was the love and care shown from the football world, and of course the Liverpool community.
“I also want to mention the strength and courage of my players here. They found themselves in one of the most difficult situations that can be imagined, but the way they gathered and the way they made themselves, inside and outside the stadium, is the credit for them and the football club.
“We could not ask for more children and I am very proud of them.
“We will always carry Dugo with us in our hearts, in our thoughts, wherever we go.”
