It remains to be seen whether Deportivo are willing to agree to his departure. He is a key player for them and has a long-term contract with the club.

Jeremiah Hernandez could fancy a Chelsea move

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old could be attracted to the idea of playing in the Premier League too. The move from the second tier of Spanish football to the English Premier League is a huge deal, and the player would find it difficult to turn down a move to Stamford Bridge if there was a concrete offer in front of him.
It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to negotiate a deal in the coming weeks. The Blues need to improve their squad before the transfer window closes. Aside from signing a quality winger, they should look to invest in a central defender as well.

It is no surprise that Chelsea are interested in the 22-year-old, especially with the performances from Mykhailo Modric and Noni Madueke. Both players have been disappointing and Chelsea need upgrades. In addition, It is possible that Modric will be subjected to a long ban due to doping.
