Chelsea completed the signature of Alejandro Grancho from Manchester United in a 40 million pounds of transfer process, with their summer spending close to 300 million pounds.

The 21 -year -old wing becomes the ninth of Chelsea to the window, where he joined his colleagues who attack recruits Joao Pedro, Liam Dilab, Estevo, and Jimmy Gitans.

Its arrival raises the total club expenditures to 296.8 million pounds – although the blues also collected 314.4 million pounds by leaving 26 players, either permanently or on loan.

A compromise on Garnacho’s evaluation was at the end. United was holding 50 million pounds, while Chelsea’s opening offer was 25 million pounds.

The final fees are the largest sale of United player in five years, with the club understanding that it is satisfied with both the price and the player’s future. The deal also includes a 10 percent sale condition.

It is the fourth largest sale in United ever, behind the Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku and Angel Di Maria, and its most profitable exit for a local academic product.

Garnacho, who prompted to stay away from Old Trafford, refused approaches from other clubs in order to secure the switch to Stamford Bridge.

He was informed at the end of last season that he was free to leave and was not included in training plans for new director Robin Amorim before the season.

Speaking for the first time as the Blues Man, Garnacho said: “It is an incredible moment for my family and I am to join this wonderful club.

“I can’t wait to start. I saw the club’s World Cup and join world champions is special – we are the best team in the world! It is amazing to be here and I am very happy.”
