Carry1st brings Call of Duty: Mobile Tournament to Africa as a qualifying for the tournament

Carry1stThe PC publisher in Africa has announced the return of the leading Call of Duty: the mobile phone championship as part of Carry1st Africa CUP 2025.

With more than 200 teams and more than 1,000 players, this year is scheduled to be the largest and most competitive. In a historical step for African electronic sports, the Carr1st Africa Cup was also recognized by Activision as a qualifying championship for the Call of Duty: Mobile World 2025.

This opened a direct road for African talent for international competition at the largest stage.

Based on the success of the event last year, which included teams from five African regions, the 2025 edition of seven African regions will include: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, North Africa (Egypt and Muroku), Kenya, Uganda, West Africa (Cameron, Ivory Coast, and SENEGAL). This represents the second batch of the pioneering Carry1st Africa Cup for this year, highlighting the company’s continuous commitment to the competitive games scene in Africa.

Call1st Call of Duty: The Mobile Championship will be operated from May to July, and its climax in August with the Lan Grand Finals in Lagos, Nigeria, will become a set of $ 15,000 prizes to seize it. The Africa Cart1St Cup champions will secure the desired opening for Africa at Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025 and compete for its share of a set of amazing prizes of one million dollars on the world stage.

The regional qualifiers will continue during the next three months to determine the teams that advance to the Lan Grand Finals. With the matches that will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, each region will play its own group, qualifiers and regional finals.

How to enter

The team should consist of at least five players and one alternative. Competition is welcomed by both amateurs and professional players, provided that the participants are a resident of the country they represent in the qualifiers. The regional rehabilitation stages will continue from May to July, and they will be crowned in the Lan Grand finals in Lagos, Nigeria. Carry1st will also support travel arrangements for qualified teams, ensuring that all teams can attend finals.
