Caneo Alvarez wants to add Chris EUBANK JR to the British scalp menu, and he will be ready to come to the UK to do so.
He told Turki AlasHik Sky Sports in February that the EUBANK JR winner against Conor Ben will be in a line to secure a shot in Canilo in 2026.
On Saturday, EUBANK against Tottenham on Saturday won a unanimous decision to keep this dream alive, although he was contracted to face Benn in the return match later this year.
Meanwhile, Caneo is preparing to face William Scull in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this week, but he opened the door to a meeting with EUBANK.

“You have been defeated eight British so far?” Kanilo said in an interview with Ring magazine. Well, it will be nine.
“I want to fight in the UK and promise you that I will do it. I don’t know exactly where yet, but I will do it.
“Do people want to see me against Chris Yubank Junior? Maybe this is the battle. This is a battle I will think about, but we do not know what will happen.”
Meanwhile, Caneo is said to face an unacceptable pounds for Lasford in Las Vegas in September in what is scheduled to be one of the biggest battles in the history of modern boxing.
The Mexican last time fought a British opponent in 2023 when he beat John Ryder unanimously, after previously defeated Billy Joe Sonders, Calum Smith, Rocky Fielding, Liam Smith, Amir Khan, Ryan Rhodes, Matthew Haton.

“I think of making big battles is all I want. I want to enjoy everything I am now. I have accomplished everything in boxing. Maybe I can overcome more world champions but I want to be in big battles and great events.”
He speaks exclusively to Sky Sports for the first time since his victory over Benn, EUBANK insisted on “watching this space” regarding what he might follow.
“Boxing is a very beautiful industry where anything can happen,” he said. “The possibilities are endless. If the return match is supposed to be, it will be so.
“And if it’s not, guess what? There are many other amazing battles that you should be. And great things for me to achieve in this sport.

EUBANK reaffirmed his desire to face Canelo in the near future, while he is believed to be waiting for another sale.
